Lets Step Inside The Casey...
Once you step in through the front door, hang up your coat and kick off your boots you will feel at home in the cosy sitting room with tiled flooring, contemporary furniture and a welcoming wood-burning stove.
The open stairway divides the sitting room from the modern, well-equipped kitchen which has a useful breakfast bar. The two bedrooms are tastefully presented with vaulted ceilings, exposed oak beams and consist of a double and a single. The bathroom has a large P-shaped bath with a shower over to refresh and soak those weary limbs at the end of the day.
Rather quirkily, the upstairs stable door between the bedrooms leads out to the lovely South facing garden which has stepping stones to the private garage and driveway on Ashes Lane.
There’s plenty of space in the private garden at The Casey and lovely seating areas where you can enjoy a glass or two of something and look to the distant hills as the sun goes down with a soundtrack of singing birds and church bells.
The garage has Bike Racks and space to store your kayak, canoe or outdoor gear.
Our Local Inns
If you prefer not to cook there’s three very good pubs a short stroll away, The Bentley Brook*, Coach & Horses and The Old Dog* at Thorpe or why not adventure and find a traditional little Inn in one of the nearby villages. (*Dog Friendly).
